Robert "Chuck" Schnabel, Psy. D. Director Dr. Schnabel has extensive experience in counseling professional and amateur athletes. With a Psy. D from the Optimal Performance Institute, an M.A. from Seton Hall University, a B.A. from Providence College, several teaching and numerous counseling certifications in varied areas, he has the academic, personal, and professional background to help student-athletes and their families center on proper direction and focus, so each player's unique approach to their life, their sport, their academics, and/or their personal issues can be more systematically realized. As a coach, Mr. Schnabel has an equally extensive background. He has coached on both the Division 1 and Division 3 levels, in the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League, has administered the Garden State Games, and has spent more than twenty years in professional baseball, mostly in scouting capacities. He is in demand as a clinician and as an instructor at college and high school clinics and at camps in addition to being a staff clinician for the New York Professional Baseball Scouts Association. A county championship coach in both the high school and American Legion areas, he has won conference titles at every high school and amateur level he has coached.
