A private club that plays worse than abandoned public courts

Raintree resurfaced a few of their courts, however many of the hard courts are uneven and have divots. This may be expected on clay; however the hard courts play worse than a well worn clay court. If you do play on the clay courts, you should expect a few unpredictable bounces every game. At Raintree, you get what you pay for-outdated facilities and inefficient management.

This is a hard-core tennis club for serious tennis players where you're likely to meet (and perhaps challenge) 15 of the top 45 players in Virginia. Although Raintree is a members-only club, for the price of a $38 lesson, you can stay to play after your instruction. Raintree boasts three full-time teaching pros, so call and schedule a lesson. Afterwards, practice your freshly honed skills on one of the indoor or outdoor hard-surface courts.
