I just spent 3 stay and play days with two of my sons at Sunny Hill. The accommodations and meals were were great and we enjoyed a total of 90 holes on the Sunny Hill and Thunderheart courses, which were in great shape. Really stretching the yardage out...

I used to play this course as a kid, and recently revisited it during a trip into the Catskills in July. The course was in pretty rough shape, the greens were pretty hairy. Tee boxes were in really poor shape, and playing from the tips proved to be near impossible on some holes. Tee boxes seemed to be mounds of dirt with some grass grown on them, access was hampered by overgrown brush and tree...

Nice Local Feel to the Course

We decided to do a weekend trip to the Catskills and found the Rainbow Club on a website list of Catskill courses. The website had a pretty view of on island green which is why we picked it to play.
