Rain Cafe

Great Diner food. Ok, this is not a high end restaurant or a four star quality. However, this is about as good as diner food gets. The ingredients were all obviously fresh and prepared on site, from the hand battered chicken fried steaks to the tasty onion rings.

Update, menu is back to reasonable, prices up a bit. They tried to turn this traditional cafe into half-Italian joint in the last menu. GREAT NEWS! All of that stuff is gone and the menu is back to what people go to Rain Cafe for.

I frequent often. Food was cold and they had NO OJ and the waitress ignored me. I DO NOT appreciate this type of service AT ALL. ESPECIALLY WHEN I'm JUST WAKING UP!

Potential for Improvement. We thought we'd try it out since it's been remodeled. It was pretty on the inside. However, the salad was drowned in dressing (they brought me a new one after I flagged down another waitress, not even ours) and the food was brought to us almost cold . The service was bare minimum.
