Rafal's closed in late 2008. Too bad, it was a great place to find spices, teas, coffees, and much of the obscure items not found anywhere else. Plus, it was right in the Eastern Market area where you could do all the shopping for a great dinner.

The aroma is the best. I'm not a coffee drinker but I go in the back to sniff the wonderful smell. Also the staff knowledge of the spices is incredible, I love buying spices even if I have no clue what to do with them.
