Upon learning of our problem the office staff agreed to refund our money, and deal with the problem internally.
Called these guys on a recommendation. They have lots of positive reviews everywhere so i felt safe. They forgot to schedule me so I sat around all day waiting for someone that was not coming. Within a half hour of calling someone came speeding in my driveway.The tech was courteous and clean looking and spoke to me professionally. When he was finished he was sort of speedy with trying to get out of there. After he left I went to inspect the job, my mistake for not doing while he was there. The work area was clean. I opened the front cover to discover that he left all the crud that was inside the pipes and burner box laying all over the pump and electronics. There was a half inch, I kid you not, of this charred and oily crud covering everything in sight. I've made sure to keep this part clean over the years and now it is permanently scarred with sooty residue. He also failed to properly clean up the inspection ports. In completion he failed to install 9 screws holding the flue together and tighten the caps on the inspection ports. The flue screws are building code so now they have left me with a sub code furnace.I understand that almost nobody would open there furnace to inspect the job so it would have appeared that things were done properly. I made it clear that I go in there and check at least once a month so why he would have left it like that is beyond me. Just because someone is not going to see your work does not mean it is OK to do the job poorly. Shame on them.
