Don't expect a fancy place - this is an old fashioned luncheonette and it's the best of its kind. The owner operators are wonderful people, the food is good, and the prices are so low you'll think they made a mistake. Breakfast and lunch - specials posted on the board - I love this place!
You are lucky if you're staying at a hotel in downtown Cleveland and want something to eat. Go to P.J.'s Luncheonette. It's next to all the big sights (Indians, Cavs, Browns, entertainment districts). I took my girlfriend on a trip to see some games, and we ate at P.J.'s twice a day on Fri and Sat. i eat everywhere downtown, but i love pj's. i'm not really the diner-type but they treat you like the most important person every time. big meals for small prices. i wish these guys were on the streetfront so everyone could see for themselves. its all made in front of you. in my opinion, pj makes the best corned beef and reuben sandwiches in town. better than sleiman's. and cheaper.
