The Quiet Man, like its namesake, is an unassuming place in the heart of Dover. The food is excellent, but besides the Fish & Chips and the Shepherd's Pie, doesn't necessarily remind you of the Old Sod. But what exactly is Irish cuisine, anyway? Try the corn fritters for a unique taste experience.

I really like coming to this restaurant. The fish and chips are top notch, but their other dishes are very good also. I especially love the scalloped potatoes. The price is moderate, casual setting. The Quiet Man does have a tendency to get crowded, especially on a Friday or Saturday night.They are open for lunch, which is also very good!

Good, basic Irish food! Excellent new dishes! Do not miss the fish and chips or the specials! Desserts are fabulous! You cannot get reservations so be sure to go early! Limited table space but worth the wait!
