As we're often reminded, "you get what you pay for." I booked this place through a third-party and got a "Hot Deal". The real attraction was its proximity to the Duke Medical facilities. But as soon as I arrived in the dingy lobby, I began to become concerned.

Party after dark by contruction workers who work at the site

Hotel is under renovation.
The construction workers who stayed across the hallway from my room with room #414 were having party until 3 am in the morning. I am a business traveler and I do need to wake up and go work at 6 am. I complained to the staff and had been told by the staff that those construction...

Check in was very smooth, we booked through Expedia.com. Staff was very helpful with questions and recommendations for food. Thats about where it ends the great and goes down hill from there. The room had a microwave and a mini refrigerator, it was very close to many strip malls. This allowed me to buy my dinner and heat it, saving me a lot of money. All the staff were super friendly and willing to help. Breakfast was good quality and quantity. Basically, you get your money's worth.

Nice hotel....convenient for travelers

Nearby the interstate highways, clean, comfortable beds, hot water for the shower, nice hot and cold breakfast...the usual. This was a free night for us but we would stay again. Room was clean and bedding was clean. Lots of towels.
