Course is relatively flat and wide on most holes. Fairways and greens are in good shape but the secondary rough can, at times, can be thick and hard to spot stray shots. Nice driving range on-site and putting green also present.

A much underappreciated asset to Morganton. Cheap and pleasant golfing/driving range for those new to the sport and retirees. Not much in the way of amenities but what do you really need? They have restrooms, nabs and cold drinks. Walk or ride. 9 hole executive course too if you are in a hurry or just starting out.

Municipal course...so don't expect well maintained fairways and greens. Likewise they don't charge for that as well. It's a good value for the price.

The staff was very nice. However I am amazed that they charge $36.00 on Sunday 02/11/2007 to play a golf course in such bad shape. I have played a lot of courses both public and private but I have never seen a course in this shape. Almost no grass in fairways. if you want to hit of any grass you...
