Mostly calm still water great for kayaking. Nice little campground which is undergoing some upgrades and renovations. The showers will be a good thing when finished.
We stayed at the campground for three nights and we loved it. Only drawback is if you have a long tow behind spots are not big enough and leveling is difficult.
Quail Creek State Park is a beautiful place to visit even if you just drive through. There are many interesting place to stop with scenic views and/or histric interests.
