My wife and i have enjoyed eating at the purple olive every time.the service is attentive and freindly and great atmosphere. We like to say it is a place to eat great food with out the attitude you get in fine dining restaurants (you know the menus you need a dictionary to understand and a server belittling you for the questions)
I am a big fan of the grilled hearts of ramaine salad, a filet with brandy pepper sauce and the chocolate layer cake,i am not sure how they pronounce it. My wife loves the spinach and brie salad, sasame scallops and the cream brule then they carmalize the fruit...
