Purity Ice Cream Co

Great Icecream!

Purity is a local dairy and ice cream parlor that's been in Ithaca for over 50 years. They use local ingredients and make a unique product. I used to go to Purity all of the time when I was a kid; despite the passage in time, it's still great. Purity also has a nice coffee shop to complement its icecream and dairy operation. The store is right on NY Route 13 close to downtown Ithaca, so if you are just passing through or live there, it's definitely a stop you should make on a hot Summer day.

FUN FACT: If you are driving down NYS Route 13 (Meadow Street) you can see where it was split in two to let Purity stay in place. If that is not an endorsement, I don't know what is.

As far as I know Purity ice cream has been around
forever and the ice cream is always great. Locally
owned (not a chain), the shop has expanded so
you can sit down in the atmosphere of an old
fashion ice cream parlor and enjoy your ice cream,
coffee, or other yummy creations.
