5/23/08 I used Prominent recently from midtown to JFK. They were on time, polite and cheap. Unfortunately the state of the car was appalling. By that I mean old, shabby and dirty. So if you want a cheap ride and are not fussy about appearance then they are the car service for you.

I called from Los Angeles to make the reservation and got a very helpful and polite operator. The Driver was on time to pick up at JFK and was extremely good getting to my location. The cost was even less than i was quoted. THAT'S A FIRST IN HISTORY. Even though this company is almost a year old, but I find it more convenient than others in the area, charge no waiting time, no extra percentage added to your fair when using a credit card and always available.
