This is simply the best place in Seattle!!!! You could not ask for a better find on a steep climb. The treasure is worth going threw the twists and turns that Seattle has to offer. We have been to Italy four times and our family feels Procopio has the best gelato in Seattle. Others may think the fluffy, highly decorated gelato is how it should look, but that type is chalky and made from a chemical mix not made with fresh, quality ingredients such as Procopio uses. Procopio gelato was being sold at Whole Foods, but they are now making their own. WF was closer for us... more

I got rice with cinnamon and lychee on a waffle cone for just under $5. My husband got lemon and grapefruit. We were very happy about all the four flavors. The flavors were really close to what the actual fruits taste like. We were surprised how good they are! They are so refreshing without being rich & heavy like regular ice cream. I will definitely go back (don't forget cash)!
