Dont feel bad. I, too, was asked to not come there...but very indirectly. I was told "it is OK if you go someplace else to worship". This was my birth church, and attended from 1954 to 1992. I spent 20 yrs going to this church, it was like a marriage made in Heaven or so I thought. I thought when Pastor Rickets took over the ministry in the 70's that he was a wonderful replacement.
