One word: Nightmare. I'm not an unreasonable person, or the pretentious type that demands exceptional service. However, this company's unprofessionalism was unacceptable. Finding good, reliable movers is difficult, but I hope this review makes that search a bit easier for you.
The movers were scheduled to arrive at 8:30am. After numerous phone calls to the sales office and promises that the movers would arrive shortly, every 45 minutes, the movers finally arrived at 1:30pm-- 5 hours late. When they arrived, they didn't call me, even though they were 5 hours late, and eventually my girlfriend found them relaxing in their truck. When she asked them why they were just sitting, they responded "We're not Hercules!" The movers had another job following my appointment, and at 2:00pm told their dispatcher to tell the next client that they would be there in 20mins. I had gotten the same treatment five hours earlier. They were with us until 8pm.
The movers took double the estimated time even though I pre-packed everything, since I didn't believe that they would be able to do all the packing and moving in their quoted 3-hour estimate as advertised.
The job took roughly 6 1/2 hours; 3 1/2 hours over the estimate, and it costs me twice as much as the quoted price. I warned them that I had to have moved into my building by 4pm because I would not be allowed to move in after; we arrived at my building at 5:20 pm. The super told the movers they couldn't move anymore of my stuff into the apartment at 7:20 pm, and the foreman told the movers to tell me that the earliest they could bring me my items was the following week. When I told foreman that was unacceptable, he dismissed me completely.
Scott from sales was professional and courteous -- it's a shame that he works at such a dysfunctional company.
I ran one internet search where Prime Meridian came up with the same address as Noah's Ark moving, 175 Rose Feiss Blvd # 1. This may be a coincidence, but you should google what consumers had to say about Noah's Ark at 175 Rose Feiss Blvd.

I have used Prime Meridian moving a few times- both to move my office and home. They moved my entire office and apartment and did a great job. When moving, you want to work with a company you trust. I've also referred them to my clients and have received lots of positive feedback. They offer great customer service at competitive prices. They are your moving crew!
Prime helped me out the day before I had a 45' trailer show up that needed to be unloaded. They showed up on time with 4 guys and were able to get the furniture unloaded quicker then they estimated.

Great, fantastic, terrific - this is how I would describe our moving experience thanks to prime meridian movers. They came on time and ready to work. They all worked hard and fast, and at the same time handled our stuff with care. Everyone was fast, hard working and pleasant. We definitely give them thumbs up and would recommend them to anyone. Great, honest moving company! They offer local moves as well as long distance moving service. This is second time I used them. Very professional movers, highly trained and pleasure to deal with.This time I used them to move locally in NYC, last time they moved me from down south. We had 5(five) flights walk up at the destination...movers were not complaining, it was the opposite they were joking about sweating in the winter. Very fast movers and very honest. No hidden fees, just one honest price.
