Don't live at Post Renaissance

This apartment complex will take every dollar from you that it possibly can. We just moved out and had to pay another $500 on top of the previously paid security deposits (which weren't cheap). Keep in mind that they place was in great condition when we left.

Aside from that, the complex is surrounded by bums. There is a giant homeless shelter down the street which is known for housing drug addicts and other generally unsavory characters. The motel a block away is a crack den. I know because I used to deliver in the area and had to go there many times. It's not a nice place to be.

Also, the staff almost cost us an apartment when they screwed up some paper work and put an eviction notice on our credit reports. We were never evicted. Not even close. But that error nearly cost us an apartment.

Avoid this property. There are many other places in the area that have a pool and some grills for equal rent. The office doesn't care about you once you sign the lease and tries to find every way it can to suck more money out of you the longer you live there.
