Nice to sit outside and have lunch. Look at the drawbridge vehicle and boat traffic.

Portside is located on Cambridge Creek in Cambridge adjacent to the Commerce Street drawbridge which serves as the gateway into Cambridge from Route 50. Seafood and steaks populate the menu. The restaurant overlooks the water and is probably the best place in Cambridge to eat outside in the warmer months. The inside bar gets pretty lively sometimes.

Our visit recently was to see if the chef was replaced since new ownership took over. Was NOT happy before with the food. Very disappointed again. Crab dip was ALL cream cheese with a hair of crab. The cream of crab and oyster stew was nothing but a flour taste. Hamburger was small on a Hugh bum no season. Prices for seafood are way out of the park compared to others we join in our town....

We end up here a few times every time we are in town for a race. What's better than a French dip with a cold Miller Light after a triathlon? Not much...
