I love our schools but dislike the way you are taking away the celebrations that kids look forward to. 12th Street Elementary is no longer celebrating Halloween, no costumes, no parade, just no fun.

Although eveeyone is grateful for the free lunches. I think ita very rude when there is a line of at least 50 kids. Hungry. Waiting. To see the van pull in 15 minutes late and obviously the driver stopped and got herself a bag of chipa. Ridiculous. Hungry kids waiting. ...

Very disappointed. I got a card in the mail at 2:30 pm today inviting me to my 6th graders awards ceremony at 8:30-9:30 a.m. today I missed EVERYTHING. I am not happy at all.

Well you look good in print. Too bad actually working with PPS isn't not as pretty. According to your staff, compliance with IEPs is not necessary if the child is not of school age. My experience over the last 10 years with PPS has left me with nothing positive to say about you.

I have been very impressed by Portage Public Schools! This has been a difficult winter but the schools have put the children's safety first. There is also a real emphasis on academics. Good work PPS. Keep it up.
