The sign, with the tall top-hatted pig, stands as a defiant porcine reminder that the drive-in will never die. This place seems like it should have carhops, but instead, patrons...
I think that my mom took me to Porky's west in Minneapolis more than we ate at home in the 60's & 70's. I am looking for a picture of the old place. Does anyone know where to get one?\r

We still love the place. Great fries!
The most HORRIBLE fast food joint I have been to in my life! The food was EXTRA greesy (like everything was friend in 100 year old greese) old, and my hamburger had hair in it! HORRIBLE. It's dirty and the staff was rude. I am not from St. Paul and I saw the sign that said "best hamburger in the twin cities". I had better at McDonalds.
They are Officially closed and i was the first poster hehe
Delicious food!
GREAT SERVICE!!!
One of the best burgers in town!
Bad, nasty food! Greasy & tasteless. We had a coupon, so I don't remember if it was over priced or not. I just remember the yucky food!

Youre half expecting the waitress to bring your food out on roller skates. At Porkys Drive In, youre met with St. Pauls own black and white-checkered greasy spoon. The hamburgers are juicy and will have you swooning for more. The fries are enough to have you ordering extra for a midnight snack. Porkys is a fabulous spot to bring all your pals some sweet summers eve when the weathers hot enough...
A crunchy onion ring comes smashed into the top bun of all the burgers, but be sure to order a full basket of rings.
If you want a bit of everything, get the Cruiser's Combo--a single burger, two pieces of chicken, three big onion rings, an order of fries and a cup of fresh-tasting slaw.
