Poogan’s Porch is a Charleston institution and as soon as we crossed the threshold we realised why. The ambience was fantastic, set in an old colonial house where Charlestonians have been enjoying themselves for many, many years.

Its an old home and so charming.
We had brunch, 5 of us, but we were squished into a table for 4. Not ideal, but the dining room is set for tables of 2 and 4.
