My fiance and I were in town for just a few days...and before we left we HAD to have some good New York style pizza. The hotel concierge recommended Lombardi's, so we jumped on a subway down to little Italy. This review was based on a slice of pizza I had at Pomodoro.
I would not venture back to Pomodoro for any reason. I have spent my entire life in NYC and that was the worst pizza I have ever had. It was a reheated slice of pizza. Reheated pizza is common for places that sell pizza by the slice. I have no problems with that. I actually enjoy reheated pizza and grew up on reheated pizza. ...

I very much enjoyed my ravioli filled with pesto in vodka sauce -- to die for. Garlic bread was excellent. Free salad was a nice surprise.
My friend, who recommended the restaurant because she had a prior satisfying experience, was also very happy with her classic pizza dish. I thanked her numerous times for recommending Pomodoro to me.
