You'd think a restaurant named chickens Maria would serve some crazy stuff. But despite its cannibalistic name, this is simply a regular Mexican restaurant that happens to have chicken on the menu, as do all Mexican restaurants. One of the best Mexican restaurants in Carlsbad & even San Diego. Local-family owned for over 25 years. It has a great authentic ambiance to it. With outdoor fire pits in a nice quaint Village location.
