The Poisoned Pen is a great social, educational, and enjoyable evening out. Love the author talks and book signings, and I always leave feeling smarter than I walked in. Drove over from Peoria to check out this bookstore and Rula Bula. (Found out about it through Kevin Hearne facebook plugs) while visiting family in Peoria for xmas. Pat was extremely helpful and we had a great discussion. I like giving my business to small book stores and enjoy the customer service you get from someone who obviously loves their job!
