Pleasant Inn

A friendly staff, bright flower boxes, and comfy, clean rooms are the hallmarks of this basic but cheery lodge less than two blocks from the waterfront. The rooms, which are on the small side but were completely remodeled in beach cottage style in 2014, have showers (no tubs). Five rooms have full kitchens. Ask for one of the two rooms with ocean views.

The staff is wonderful. Helpful with finding dog friendly restaurants and beaches etc. Forgot a pair of shoes when we check out and they called my cell right away to inform me. The location is great. Room is nice and clean and the bed was comfortable.\n\nRoom very cute and quaint but very small, no room for two suitcases and only one chair. Bathroom very small and shower without much water...

Have to say it's a bit disappointing seeing the sign on the street says Pleasant Motel instead of Pleasant Inn. It's a very small inn with approximate 10 rooms. Luckily when I get into the room it appears very clean and cozy. Only complaint inside would be the tiny shower. However overall it's a very comfortable stay.

Nice room. Friendly staff. Our room wasn't booked correctly so we were upgraded to a nicer room with a bit of a view. The bathroom was a bit small but served it's purpose. Wish we could have stayed another night. Morro bay is beautiful!
