Knowledgable staff with friendly attitude. I came in looking for quad skates and pads for roller derby. They had nothing and had no suggestions besides looking online. The clerk was friendly and helpful in other aspects. He was not aware of the roller derby shop in Minneapolis ( I'd come back if I were looking for more typical sports gear.

Play it again sports is always good for cheap sporting goods. If you don't mind used sports stuff go to one. This one gets 3 stars because of how small it is, they have some stuff and the staff is friendly but the selection is fairly limited.

I can't believe how poor this store has become. About 5 years ago this place was great! It was clean, full of inventory and had a great staff that were informative and actually wore a Play It Again shirt or something similar. I have had many friends say the exact same thing, that they just don't know what happened since it used to be such a fun store to go in to. I saw a sign inside the store that was a City Pages ""Best of"" candidate. I happened to be associates with the guy who does the voting candidates and he said that it was because of the St. Paul store that Play It Again won...
