I've been getting my hair cut there for about 10 years. I much prefer it to the chain shops with people still in training.

It's what a barber shop is supposed to be.

Arrived mid-day to insulting silence, no barber on duty, no sign, and two seniors reading and trying real hard to ignore me. Checked out wall of business cards. Checked out wall of momentos. Still no barber, only crazy silence. Left that eerie place never to return.

Jody Fairchild continues the tradition of the late John Lester in providing a great haircut at a place that's been a cornerstone of the community for decades. The stories you hear from long-time patrons about days gone by are reason enough to go there. The fact that Jody is also easy on the eyes doesn't hurt, either!
