Information about this business (4)

At Pizzeria Serio we serve a classic thin crust East Coast style pizza. All of our Pizzas start with hand stretched dough, sauce made from whole plum san marzano style tomatoes and 100% real Mozzarella Cheese. We then cook them in our Brick Oven at 800 degrees for a Seriously great taste. We also offer fresh salads, pasta with our house made meatballs, subs, and a great selection of appetizers...

Delicious New York style pizza in Roscoe Village. Move aside, deep dish.

Ricotta-stuffed "mini" calzones are a must for apps or alone. Hot and spicy sopresatta pizza's a crowd favorite. Plenty of veggie options.

Their specialty pizzas are pretty good, but I prefer making my own with some bacom, mushrooms, and goat cheese. It's AMAZING!! Their crust is on point.

Oh my gosh was this pizza goooood! We got there about 15 minutes before they opened on a Saturday for lunch, but they seated us promptly. Since we were the only ones in the restaurant at the time, we got our waiter's full attention, so the service was really good.As far as the menu goes, the pizzas …

I went in on 1/2 price wine and appetizer night! The garlic sticks are AMAZING! They look super dense, but they are light and fluffy. They have just enough garlic so you can taste it, but it's not obnoxious. My friend and I also had the spinach dip, which was also good. For appetizers, and two bottles of wine (yes, we are lushes), the bill came to about 35 bucks. Can't beat that!

This two-story thin-crust pizza emporium spices up its West Lakeview surroundings with fresh-from-the-oven pies built on hand-stretched dough. Peppy rock tunes pump through the modern, lofted space, creating an unpretentious atmosphere. Young couples claim their territory near the dark wooden bar, as boisterous groups in wooden booths and tables dig into their pie. In the rear, the chef mans an 800-degree brick oven, expertly churning out 14-inch creations like the satiating Meat Your Heart Out--topped with a carnivore-approved trio of pepperoni, Italian sausage and Canadian bacon. As for...

What to Drink

Relive your past with an old-fashioned bottle of Mexican Coca-Cola or Fanta, both of which the restaurant serves in the hard-to-find, pure cane sugar variety. If you're after a dinnertime buzz, you'll have to BYO until they secure a liquor license (slated for summer 2010).

Fun Fact

The spicy Diavolo pizza delivers palate-pleasing heat compliments of Sopressata salami from the West Loop's legendary J.P. Graziano Grocery Co.
