Here's my experience: I had a ""new"" ACDelco battery installed 07/31/2009 which has gone bad as of 07/25/2012. Knowing from the markings on it that the battery had a 6-year warranty, I went back to get it taken care of. Come to find out, it had only a 30 month full-replacement warranty, which was not well documented when I purchased it, and on top of that, even that warranty is dated from the DATE OF MANUFACTURE, not the date of installation. The one I got was already 15 months old - mfg 03/2008 - half of its warranty life - when it was installed in my truck. Now, perhaps Pirate Auto...
