Help us make it right"You never know what you'll find" at this Chelsea vintage jewelry shop harking back to "a time of graciousness and craftsmanship that's almost gone from our world"; it's "lovely" to "browse the trays" of "fairly priced" wares "laid out by type, era or color", and the "attentive" service is "as exquisitely period as the goods"; P.S. the vintage furniture store "tucked away" down the alley from...
"Walk in on a whim" and "restore your faith" in retail at this Flatiron–Little Italy do-gooder duo offering "wonderful finds" with a conscience, like reclaimed wood furniture, recycled glass pieces and hand-woven textiles promoting the shop's Fair Trade and green principles; customers concur service is "excellent", and while wallet-watchers warn "items are expensive", most agree the...

My fiance bought my vintage engagement ring at this cute store in Chelsea after scouring New York City's vintage and estate jewelry stores.
The staff was great and the owner was simply amazing, helpful and appears to be very knowledgeable.
We just stopped by the other day to try to meet with the owner one last time and saw a new batch of gorgeous engagement rings -- including art deco. They have white gold, yellow gold and platinum rings. The owner said they get new ones almost every week.
Really, a great store with great staff.
No - we are not reviewing ourselves BUT wanted to refute the ""review"" of Vermillionecho. This unkind and untrue review was written by a young man who worked for us for a few months. He just wasn't a good fit for our store and we had to let him go. His comments are mean spirited and reflect the hurt he must have felt when we had to fire him. His remarks referring to Reverie are equally nasty. Alison's creations are sheer genius. Please read a range of reviews for our store on YELP. We are much loved and hope you will disregard the words of a disgruntled ex-employee. We are very proud of...
I walked into this ""boutique."" AC was the only thing to brag about. I found a bunch of Mardi Gras beads, a tired security guard looking at my cleavage, and a staff including two young girls who were not fond of their jobs. They looked at the time constantly and did not offer a cent of expertise or advice on the jewelry they were selling. One immature girl kept on raising her eyebrows and elbowing the bimbo next to her. I wanted a diamond ring and was willing to pay up to 4K on it yet there was no interaction nor was there any knowledge. I also examined a hefty bracelet-priced at...
These folks apparently value themselves very highly because their time is priceless, at least when you ask for shipping. I live across the country and asked to have a $40 item shipped to me and I was met with the snarky, rude answer ""That's just not worth our time!"" When I offered to pay whatever personnel costs they might incur he raised up on his throne and snapped back, ""I said no!"" If you're going to visit be prepared for attitude and drama. Although I had a nice visit I think I'll be sticking to eBay and local shops that understand the idea of customer service.

Things go fast--don't wait too long to snag up that necklace or tea set because it might be gone tomorrow.
If you have a specific piece in mind, let someone on the staff know. They will be happy to look out for it at the next estate sale.
