As far as grocery stores go, this one is good.A bit overpriced (compared to same chain in Ravenel/waltoboro) but its the only place on the island so they can charge more.It is always jam packed so be prepared to take some time, even grabbing one or two items.The aisles are narrow and families seem to …

You know what, this place does a nice job in their hot deli case. The fried chicken is always extremely good. Selection is nice for an island store and the people are so friendly. During the holidays they ramp up their selection of turkeys and roasts. All in all, not a shabby operation.

Considering this is the only grocery store on the island I found it to be nice and not crazily over priced.There are some nice local places like George & Pink Vegetables, Kings Market, and Edisto Seafood.Recommendation:Stop at Target or somewhere in or near Charleston and grab your food, sun screen, and anything else.Or look around for some smaller local farmers market style shops in Edisto.
