can i just say i love cake? but i love great cakes!!! i grew up in san gabriel valley and chinatown for a good portion of my life! and then when we moved to the san fernando valley we still did majority of our chinese grocery shoppping and eatting in the sgv or ctown! for every bday we either go to nicoloci italian bakery in the valley on ventura or something new. its the something "new" always... more

Phoenix Bakery has been around forever! I remember my parents getting my birthday cakes from them and now I'm ordering cakes for my children. The best cake is their sponge cake with fresh strawberries and fresh whipped cream topping. Its always so fresh, moist, light and delicious. I love it !

Love this bakery, especially their egg tarts and really fresh fruit tarts. It's a family owned business located in Chinatown. Has a nice selection of Chinese buns, cakes and pastries and nothing ever taste like it's been sitting out for awhile.
