Help us make it rightYou won't find any Pellegrino, Niman ranch pork or locally-sourced greens, but you will get a heap of homestyle barbeque and old-school SF flavor. A whole rotisserie chicken? $8.19. A pound of...
At first you might think this is just another filthy place in the mission, but.... Wow, the ribs and the chicken are sooo good!
YUM! I definitely recommend if you're in the area looking for cheap, quality eats (everything pictured came to $15). The roast beef was amazing. It was a little more on the dry side but when they ask if you want the soup on the sandwich say yes!! They will coat the bottom half of your bun with the juice that the roast beef sits in.
Sooooo good. First time here. Definitely not my last. They were fast, delicious and affordable. I would recommend this place to my southern grandma. I got the chicken and rib combo. It was a lot of food for, I thought, a very fair price.
My mom ate here while she was pregnant with me. I grew up eating here. Pete and his family have perfected their craft. Decent prices. No frills restaurant. Extremely tasty food. Long-live old school Mission District businesses.
My favorite place in the mission, always get the half chicken dinner with a baked patatoe and Mac salad

Here you`ll find a carry out place that serves guests an American cuisine dominated by barbecue. Expect the average entrée to cost under $8.
The fanciest thing about this unpretentious storefront may be the blue-and-white awning over the picture windows. Pete's Bar-B-Que draws a mostly local crowd of students and Mission types who linger over huge platters of ribs, chicken, sausage and pork with sides of cornbread,...
Know Before You Go: This may be a barbeque joint, but don't come expecting a cold beer to go with your ribs: the hardest thing they serve here is iced-tea.
Parking: At night parking's a serious headache in the Mission, but during the day you should find find plenty of spots within a half-block.
