Convicts working for this company

My name is Amanda G. and I live in the Dallas area. I received a business card from a friend of mine about training for my mastiff puppy. I was told that the trainer there, by the name of Jack, was wonderful with larger breed dogs. I was really impressed with my neighbors description of Jack that I decided to see if there were any other reviews on him. I searched his name on the Internet and came across his arrest record for domestic violence and a drug charge. I was so shocked that an establishment with such a reputation would hire a person such as this. I for one would never allow this person to train a family member of my home and have informed my neighbor of this persons record and he has no intentions of ever allowing him to train his pet either. I am very disappointed in this company and am going to make it a point to let everyone that I know who brings their animal to their business that they are trusting a facility that hires convicts and drug addicts.

Pete and Mac is not what it used to be. We wont be coming back. The place is filthy. The floors are always dirty and the grooming area is disgusting. The old manager is no longer there and the employees don't appear to be happy working there. We wont be back.

BEWARE! We boarded our dogs for two weeks and picked them up a week ago. The canvas crate we left with Pete & Mac's was returned with 3 huge holes. Daisy said they had mice (or rats) and would would pay for a new crate. The problem is…

Our dogs come for grooming and sometimes boarding, everyone there is great and always greet us by name. They let us know how are dogs are doing and seem to genuinely care about about our fur kids.

Nice Building, Lousy Management

Pet owners beware. Pete and Macs has the highest quality, most expensive facility around, but has inept management that often puts pets and employees in danger. Their pet to employee ratio is advertised as 35 to 1 ? one of the highest in the area ? but since they are chronically understaffed, even that number is often exceeded during daycare. It is not uncommon to see 1 employee supervising 50 to 60 dogs in their outdoor play area. In the evenings, they put all boarding dogs out together regardless of size or temperament. This often puts small dogs in danger of being stepped on,...
