I stop into this restaurant multiple times a year traveling down 69. Nice little place decent food with a decent price until last night out waitress was rather slow. We had to actually ask to place our orders after setting there for 20-25 mins then we waited another 40 mins for our food, mean while we did get drinks by another waitress and we got refills by yet another waitress. My husband and I were traveling back and forth between Wabash and Indianapolis every day while our daughter was in the hospital. We decided to take exit 226 in Anderson and check out Perkins. We were waited on by Angie. She talked to us for a bit and made us feel like we were the most important people in the world. We stopped every day after that including the day we brought our daughter home....

I was heading through Anderson, Indiana and my car broke down in the snow. My daughter and I walked to Perkins and the manager let us camp out in a booth and kept the coffee coming while our car was repaired. Delicious pie and incredible hospitality you gave us! Thank you!!!
