This is a lovely, hotel restaurant. We had Thanksgiving dinner there one year, and the food was outstanding as well as the service. They had an all you can eat chocolate bar, and I was in heaven. You'll enjoy this restaurant.
Yes the atmoshphere at the Resturant inside the Hyatt is nice...will give it kudos for this, but that is were the buck stops. It took approximately 25 minutes to place our drink order and about another 15 minutes to get the drinks. We were there for 40 minutes before we even had a chance to order our food. Our server was slower than slow and they were not even busy!! i have dined at fine...

I once had Skies listed as the best place to eat in the K.C. area, but have had a change of heart as of late! The last several times we have gone, the food has been very very bland. The service has always been great, but other than cocktails and the great view of K.C., I don't think I'll be back for the food anytime soon!
At $18.00-$38.00 and entree, you should expect more.
