Though this is my second pregnancy this is my first experience with Penn Midwifery Care. I will start by saying that 70% of the midwives are great and really know their stuff. The other 30% have very poor bedside manner and really shouldn't be seeing patients or attending any births. My first pregnancy was out of state with a much smaller practice...only 3 midwives but they delivered more/month... more

So going to the GYN is not something I look forward to on a regular basis but these guys are great - the nurses are very well organized, waiting room is cozy & nicely stocked with magazines; I had an appt. during my lunch hour & they were right on time (I'm not sure I've ever had an on-time medical appointment in my life!). The staff here is very nice and very knowledgable. They recently renovated the offices and it is a lot bigger and more modern. The only bad thing is sometimes it is hard to get an appointment.
