Not intended as a upscale gourmet restaurant, but rather a very good place for a basic seafood meal. We have eaten at Pelicans Roost in both Paradise and Chico a number of times. I love to eat here!, I love sea food, and this is the place to go if you are a sea food lover! I have never had a bad meal here. It is not a fancy place so you don't have to get dressed up, but it is nice and clean. The service is good, and the seafood is fresh.

Spaghetti-o-s?. New in town and craving seafood, but didn't want to go to the typical chains. Tried the Seafood Marinara with shrimp. The shrimp seemed canned or frozen, and the marinara tasted just like Spaghetti-o's sauce- no lie, had my husband try and he stated "Chef Boyardee?" Husband had the Fish & Chips. I visited this place once with my family of 4. Pricing is about average for just a bit above fast food. The food was ALL fried. Nothing is fresh about this place. Not the food, or the atmosphere or the service. Didn't feel well the next day. Won't go back.
