I just found this. In the 80's, my mom used to live on the bayou and we visited and she said we'll have to go to dinner that night at "The Pelican Lodge Fish Camp".

The catfish is wonderful. Nice little country place down by the river. Great service. Friendly atmosphere. Good place to take a family.
