If you like staying at hotels that are not oceanfront, but beachfront, this is the place for you. you could not get closer to the beach if you tried. the pool is on the side of the hotel, so the only thing between you and the ocean is a somewhat narrow strech of ft lauderdale beach. You need a car at this resort for sure. There is nothing to do. The bar closes at 10:00. There is no nightly entertainment unless you include the automatic piano playing.
