I had a delicious late in this comfortable shop this morning. Centrally located this coffee shop is easy to get to from anywhere in downtown La Jolla.

I had a double espresso, it tasted awesome, too little for a double, though. The place is clean, nice, and staff is friendly.

It's the most basic peets coffee you can get .. better than starbucks for sure, but the coffee itself itsn't all that great (hence the 3 * rating).. it was decent inside with one massive table in the middle and some seats around.

So sad to lose Peet's (they said you can make the 45 minute rush hour drive into downtown La Jolla where they are opening a new location. Thanks!). Philz just opened on 9/6/17 a few doors down, so a great coffee option is once again...
