I interviewed half a dozen pediatricians before going with pediatric associates. They were the only group that met virtually all of my requirements: separate entrance for infants, separate waiting area for sick versus well children, their own nurses, all pediatric RN's, answer after hours call backs ( and they have ALWAYS called me back in a timely manner), separate entrance for rashes, their...
I HAVE TO PAY TO BE A PATIENT?
I have been looking for a new pediatrician. When I looked into Pediatric Associates, I read on their website that I would have to pay $115 a year for my child to be a patient there! I thought this had to be a mistake and called their office. NOPE - IT'S TRUE! You have got to be kidding me! I can't imagine how they even keep any patients. Why would anyone pay to be a patient? It's like an HOA fee.
