Everything here has been pretty bad, except the chicken orzo tomato soup. I work nearby and all my coworkers and I go everyday just for the soup. If new ownership gets rid of that soup, we'll never go there again!

Love Pecan. I love the fresh salads. Today I had The Mediterranean Salad which had fresh hummus, roasted peppers, eggplant and zucchini (both served sliced not mashed.). I also had the homemade lemonade which was perfect.They also make an amazing iced latte with almond milk to die for!!!

I've been coming to Pecan about twice a week for 2 and a half years now. I work across the street so it's super convenient. While they have really good soups, the rest of it is pretty inconsistent. Very trendy feel to the place and overall nice atmosphere. The soups (Chicken Tortilla is especially) are great. In general prices are high, though I guess that is due to the trendy nature.
The service is a bit gruff even for New York City standards. I think that the staff prides themselves on being snippy.
