This is a little place in the back of a bar with a real wood smoker. The brisket and ribs are excellent. If you enjoy true barbeque flavor this is the place to enjoy without fancy or fake attitude or sauces/rubs etc. Even the kielbasa is good to dip so get a few pieces too. But GET the brisket!
NYC is an incredible city because of variety of quality choices in many areas. Pearson's truly is an amazing taste of barbecue. All of us were saddened when the original place closed but its back in Queens. The brisket is excellent as are the ribs and both styles of Kielbasa links. The onion rings are perfect companions and the staff and 2 barmaids are too. Go!
