Pearl's Oyster House

An old warehouse in downtown's South Main Street district houses this spacious, laid-back Gulf Coast-style seafood joint. Dishes include platters of oysters ordered raw or fried, pan-roasted mussels, Cajun gumbos, étouffée, fried-shrimp po' boys, fresh catfish fried in butter, and the seasonal crawfish boil with corn-on-the-cob and new potatoes.
