Parker's is great! Over the last three days I've had a number of excellent IPAs, a fantastic Italian Beef sammy, and an even better Philly. It's a homey bar in a homey town. But that's not bad....

Pretty good for Newark

Pros: Typical fare, predictable burgers, pub food, acceptable service, ambiance. Not much competition or expectations from patrons, but an improvement to the Newark restaurant scene from years ago.
Cons: The usual fried foods from whatever food service they use. Looks like bagged lettuce, jarred salsa. Not much competition or expectations from patrons, so I guess it works for them.

Nice local pub for informal lunch. Could use a dinner menu. TV selection is similar to most sports bars.

Good food, decent prices. Burgers are HUGE! Service is so-so depending on which waitress you get, but over all okay.
