Panang makes very affordable, delicious Thai food. I love Thai food, and I've been shopping around for a good Thai restaurant in Chicago, and I conclude that this is the absolute best Thai food. It may be affordable Thai food, but we were not impressed at all with the quality of the food. We ordered two entrees and they were both very bland. My curry dish was labeled as spicy, but from tasting it, I have no clue why. The pork dish appeared as though it had been made several days ago. Definitely would not reccommend this place. Panang is one of the only places I will order Asian food from in the city. It took me months to find it but they have great food and I have not tried many places since. Try their Crab Rangoon when visiting.
