The location is what this building really has going for it. Walk through an alleyway to Whole Foods and just a couple blocks to downtown offices. Fair price if you're willing to make sacrifices to be in this location. Property management is never on site, maintenance responds quickly but often is not effective at fixing things, and the common areas are a bit tired. Large spaces under unit doors...

The bath tub drain in the apartment is rusted with no sieve. The bathroom sink has green growth underneath and leaks. The kitchen sinks are stained, the air conditioning is noisy and rather be off then on in summer... lots and lots of problems in the apartment. That is how the apartment was given to me. I was not given a chance to see it before moving in - was told that it was being cleaned....

I have lived here for three years and it has been a very nice time. The apartment was in good shape, never had any bugs or anything, no problems with the neighbours and the rent was for this location amazingly...
