This restaurant needs to be cleaned good and updated. It's older and worn over the years. Needs Chef Irvine from RI to come in.The gumbo was luke warm and just ok, the fries were very soggy, but the catfish/shrimp poboy was good. Our waitress Niki was very nice and helped make our visit better.

Food was good, I had a 3 egg omelette with bacon. Bacon was hard. Hash browns seemed under cooked for me. Po boy sandwich was nothing to write home about. Service okay. Had to ask for refill. Restaurant was not busy.

My husband & I recently traveled to lake Charles and stopped in to eat at PG's diner. I haven't eaten there in years . The food was as delicious as I remembered ! Only thing was I had forgotten how large the portions are.....
I ordered beef tips with mashed potatoes special served with steamed green beans & grilled yellow...
